How about if you were to stop believing in Jesus today. Unless I am wrong Your life will continue as usual if you stopped believing today that Roses are red. But that belief doesn’t have anything to do with who you really are. It’s ok to believe roses are red because, in fact, they are. will it change any important aspect of your life? Would it change your worldview? Or say change your behavior or taught pattern? Let’s say you stopped believing that roses are red. To see if the door of your heart is opened out of courtesy or because you really need Him to come in. Just a quick test to see where Jesus lies in your heart. Īnd because of this belief cherishes His presence in their life. those whose belief in Him is at the core of their being because they know Him. what Jesus wants are those who would understand what He stands for. Sometimes in our grief, we fail to recognize the savior near us. while mourning the death of Jesus they didn’t recognize Him as the stranger who spoke with them. Likewise, In the new testament, the disciples are on their way to Emmaus. but really wants to entertain them- and so they came into his home. the angelic visitors saw that Abraham was not just been nice, or considerate. Jesus needs you to feel the need for him in your life. or just for the sake of it … I tell you He won’t come in. or so people won’t say “oh hasn’t this man been standing at that door for too long now”. If you don’t consciously invite Jesus into your heart. and he received the assurance of his promise once again. And he was given the opportunity to know about God’s plan. but Abraham pressed until it was proven that he wants to serve these strangers. they refused and insisted on continuing their journey. Abraham entreated them to stay having no idea of their mission. When the angels of the lord were on their way to destroy Sodom. How do we know this? Come Taste and See that the Lord is Good.
because He wants us to intelligently make that choice. He can force His way into our lives if He wants but He doesn’t. but still, He respects our opinions? Isn’t it Amazing… funny even? Isn’t it amazing? God created us and gives us all we need, but yet He needs our permission to come into our hearts?Īll that we are, whether we trust in Him or not- is rooted in Him. it is important to Him that His relationship with you is because you understand Him and want Him. Jesus is the Perfect Gentle Man and will not force His way into the lives of anyone. But because He really needs you to open the door to Him. Jesus is standing at the door not because He cannot come in. Revelation 3:20ĭo you ever wonder why Jesus stands only at the door?Ī preacher once said that the door of the heart is faulty because it can only be opened from the inside. if anyone hears my voice and open the door, I will come unto him: I will sup with him and he with Me.
